Kacey Akpoteni set up Four Seasons Community Interest Company and Teni’s Catering Services to provide healthy eating contract catering and private catering for weddings, funerals and celebrations of new births.
She approached sweda for help in all aspects of setting up a company, establishing a social enterprise and ongoing business advice. She said: “sweda is like family. They hold your hands and see you all the way through. I had an idea what I was looking to create when I set up the Four Seasons social enterprise, but it can be quite daunting. Tony allayed our fears. The doors are open all hours and you don’t feel like it’s on the clock and your time is limited.”
Teni’s runs two restaurants for Housing21 at sheltered housing sites in Oldbury and Birmingham, while Four Seasons has won the contract for Smethwick Library.
