Microsoft digital literacy
The goal of digital literacy is to teach and assess basic computer concepts and skills so that people can use computer technology in every day life to develop new social and economic opportunities for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Whether you are entirely new to computing or have some experience, this curriculum will help you develop a fundamental understanding of computers. From using the internet, to sending email, to creating a resume, the Digital Literacy Curriculum helps you develop the essential skills you need to begin computing with confidence.
Learn My Way
Helping to develop a knowledge of online basics which includes using a mouse and keyboard, sending and receiving emails, job searching online, how to safely shop online, understanding public services, understanding jobs and interviews and learning to use social media websites. Learn My Way gives the user a clear understanding and improved confidence of using a computer.
A qualification from eDCC recognises the progress you’ve already made and gives you the confidence to go on and achieve even more. There are no time limits or formal courses to follow and you can even complete your assessments over several sessions if you need to.
